  1. I love to hear what the Lord impresses on your heart through the scriptures. I’m always amazed at the detailed and unique messages He can speak to His children through the Word, and how He reveals more of Himself through the Word. What He spoke to me was that He doesn’t want me to build Him anything or offer anything except myself, the way Jesus offered Himself. The Jews were always after Him to build a kingdom, but He was always about surrendering Himself. The Father was pleased with the Son’s surrender and utter dependency, His complete trust in the Father. That is what I am to spend my energy on today: surrender, trust, dependency.
